they said some fact about teens these days going back to their parents music and vinly etc because they needed real music, not the shit they produce today.

not trying to start a fight with anyone who likes "todays new music" but personally it is comersialised crap and the old stuff is far better.

so what do you think? you think there could be possible truth in that "fact"?

yeah dont get me wrong im sure they try real hard, hours in the studio doing what they love, not going to sell out, got there big break etc [img]tongue.gif[/img]

nah ok there are maybe one or two good bands these days but yeah the expectation has dropped a huge amount!!

its like the radios slogan... "classic rock that rocks". that is all we want [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

i think that vinyl has never really gone out of
style. since the supposed 'death' of the record,
they have been wiped from the shelves... however,
there is a MASSIVE demand for vinyl, so it never
is truly gone.

now if you want to PLAY the records... better
hope you can find a good thrift store or repair
shop... its hard knocks finding a decent record
player.

you have to admit though, records are shit. i
think CDs are comprable to records in that they
are just as flimsy, capable of being scratched/ruined
as any old record... but you can't pop a record
into your car player. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

i haven't fallen back on my mother's musical
tastes (thank god). i had enough bon jovi growing up.
